Terms of Service
The handshake, in writing
Terms of Service.
Last updated August 2026. Short on Latin, long on plain English — the way an agreement between working people ought to read.
These terms cover your use of hvacwebdesigner.com — the site, its content, and its free tools. By using the site, you’re agreeing to them. They exist so that both of us know where we stand, not to trap anybody in the fine print; there isn’t any.
Using the site and the free tools
- The free tools (the calculator, the grader, and the writers) are provided as-is, free of charge, for your business use. Use them as often as you like; automated scraping, bulk abuse, or reselling their output as your own service is not permitted, and rate limits enforce good manners.
- Tool output is generated assistance, not professional advice. Read anything the writers produce before you post or send it under your name — you’re responsible for what you publish, same as we are.
- The Website Grader fetches only publicly accessible pages you point it at. Point it only at sites you have a legitimate reason to inspect.
- Don’t attempt to break, probe, or overload the site. Builders notice.
Estimates, projects, and payment
Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer. Project work — websites, integrations, marketing services — is governed by a separate written agreement with its own scope, price, and schedule, signed before work begins. If anything on this site appears to conflict with a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.
Content and ownership
- The content on this site — the writing, the illustrations, the diagrams, the design — belongs to HVAC Web Designers. Quote it with attribution; don’t republish it wholesale as your own.
- What you type into forms and tools remains yours. How we handle it is covered in the Privacy Policy, which is as plainly written as this page.
- Client sites are owned by the clients who paid for them — that’s house policy and it doesn’t change.
No warranties, sensible limits
The site and its free tools are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to keep everything accurate and running, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free output. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HVAC Web Designers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or its free tools. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute belongs in the courts of Bexar County, Texas — which is to say, near the shop, where the person responsible can show up in person.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes, and the date at the top changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
